BACK FROM THE USSR...

May 26 2011

Wish you all could have been with me in Moscow for the opening of my exhibit at the beautiful Pobeda Gallery (located in the former Red October Chocolate Factory facilities).  There was a wonderful turnout and a rocking after-party at the Rolling Stone Bar, adjacent to the gallery.  Daniela modeled the new “Rolling Stone Years” tee-shirt in Red Square.  Nina Gomiashvili, the lovely owner of the Pobeda Gallery, posted my 21 Rolling Stone covers on the entrance to the exhibit – very elegant, very creative.  We even had a dj spinning music during the exhibit, TV and print media were in attendance, and the June issue of Rolling Stone Russia featured an article about me and the exhibit.  It was definitely a memorable weekend of “Wild Moscow Nights.”  Thanks to Anastasia Lyubomudrova for making my Moscow dream come true.
