Calling all you West Coasters!

See my almost famous Rolling Stone Covers exhibit at Markham Vineyards in St. Helena, California, a short ride across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco.

My wonderful “tour of duty” at Rolling Stone magazine lasted a glorious three years. In that time one of my photographs graced the cover of 21 issues. To commemorate those days and those covers, I put together a fascinating exhibit of the 21 actual issues from the late sixties and early seventies and paired them with silver gelatin prints of the cover photos. Starting on 29 May 2009, the exhibit will be on display in the gorgeous tasting room gallery at Markham Vineyards, 2812 St. Helena Hwy North in St. Helena. To accompany the exhibit, I also published a 48-page monograph featuring replicas of the covers along with the contact sheets from which the cover photo was chosen. The monograph is available alone or with a signed 8×10 silver gelatin print of the cover photo of your choice. Make a trip into the wine country to see the exhibit on display, and, of course, to taste some of the memorable fine wines produced at Markham. . Markham Vineyards
