Last year, as a Kickstarter project, Dagon James and I produced a 98-page book celebrating Jimi Hendrix called “Jimi Hendrix, 1968-1970.” The book is beautifully produced with silver stamping and lots of silver ink, and outstanding photo reproduction. No cost was spared to create a book as timeless as Jimi’s music. Each copy comes with a custom 8×10, signed-by-me photograph of Jimi plus a collection of other Jimi mementos. Inside the book we reproduced every single photo I ever took of Jimi! We also included Hendrix feature stories that were originally published in Rolling Stone, a reproduction of Rick Griffin’s “flying eyeball” poster created for the four 1968 Bill Graham-produced Jimi Hendrix Experience concerts, and much, much more. Our Kickstarter project was hugely successful, as you might imagine.
